人生最後會剩下什麼？是在精華地段的幢幢美廈，還是在銀行戶頭的疊疊鈔票？這些不是重要，而是大樓總會傾倒，富貴要嘛散盡，要嘛留給後代子孫，自己沒福氣享受。那麼我覺得，生命最值得的，就是一路拾獲的經驗與閱歷，在我們的記憶裡淬練與菁華。
那是在2014年的時分，越南外派的工作生活令我疲倦；每週工作六天，每週僅有一天喘息的機會，而我總是貪心地把週日的時間填滿︰學跳salsa、認識新朋友、跟朋友聚會，周而復始。看似充實的生活，卻壓得我喘不過氣。
某位我非常欣賞的同事，介紹我看了「白日夢冒險王」這部電影，描述了一位朝九晚五的上班族，踏出食之無味的規律生活，展開了一段奇幻的世界旅程。電影迷人之處，即是現實與超現實不斷交換的小說情結。這部電影對我很關鍵，或許是奇幻的超現實情結喚起了我雙子座冒險的慾望，躊躇了半年、困在生活動彈不得的我，終於有勇氣向主管提出離職，造就了自己的一段壯遊。
電影配樂中，有一首歌叫Stay Alive，我特別喜歡、特別有感覺。而我想以這首歌的翻譯，期望自己永遠記得踏出去時的勇氣，與那一段旅程，注入在生活中的學習與體悟。
英文的歌詞如詩，有許多韻腳，在中文裡，我也嚐試保持作詞人的韻腳，期待你仔細品味與閱讀這首歌詞。
歌的一開始就有節拍器的聲音，它是規律也是催促，像是逼著我們在生命的洪流中不斷前進；然後節拍器的聲音漸弱，其他樂器加進來，氣勢開始磅礡，呼應電影中主角走訪冰島、阿富汗等國家的奇幻旅程；最後又回到節拍器的的聲音，歌詞也回到一開始，描述生活的規律與催促，彷佛在問我們：在冒險完後，在回到平淡的生活之時，我們學到了什麼？ 怎麼再次面對這樣的日子？
